We are working tirelessly to continue the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine programme.

There are a number of vaccination sites across Dorset – currently around 30 sites. Opening days and times may vary. Please pre-book your vaccine appointment with your GP or pre-book via the national booking system (NBS) in advance. We are experiencing high demand for booking appointments, please keep checking on the NBS as new appointments are being made available.

We make every effort to update this list, but given the fast changing nature and agility of the programme there may be a delay. Appointments must be booked in advance.

Please use the national website to find your nearest walk-in session.

Thank you.

Large vaccination centre

Practices in the Bridport area are providing vaccines to those aged over 80s, patients registered as housebound and care home residents. All other registered patients are being signposted to the national booking service (NBS) or 119 to book their jabs. NBS sites in and around the Bridport area include community pharmacies in Bridport or Beaminster. Slightly further afield, sites are available in Chickerell, Dorchester and Yeovil.

Mid Dorset

Mid Dorset primary care network practices are vaccinating housebound and care home residents/staff. All other eligible cohorts in those areas are being signposted to NBS/119. Most primary care networks are working through cohorts 1 through to 10 so that essentially the most vulnerable are being invited to get their booster by primary care networks, when they are eligible.
