The Urgent and Emergency Care/System Resilience clinical delivery group covers a wide variety of areas in urgent and emergency care as well as monitoring two large provider contracts; South Western Ambulance Services NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) and Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (DCHFT).

Our main priorities are:

  • To ensure the Urgent Care Strategy for Dorset is implemented

  • To identify a team and processes to deliver the Operational Resilience and Capacity Plan

  • To support the Urgent and Emergency Care Clinical Working Group

  • To play a large strategic role in both the planning and continuation of services held within the Clinical Working Group

  • To work with all partners on ensuring that the system in Dorset is resilient at all times

  • To support the newly formed Emergency Admissions Health and Social Care Clusters

  • To support the Clinical Services Review in Dorset
