Anyone aged 16 and 17 can now book a vaccination appointment through the National Booking Service as the NHS pulls out all the stops to protect people ahead of winter.

Thousands of text invitations are being sent to eligible teenagers nationally. These appear as an alert from ‘NHSvaccine’, including a link to the NHS website to reserve an appointment for a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Anyone aged 18 or over, and people within three months of their 18th birthday, can still book both doses through the National Booking Service. If you cannot book online, call 119 free of charge, between 7am and 11pm, seven days a week to make your appointment.

People aged 16 or over can also get vaccinated at their nearest walk-in centre without the need for a pre-booked appointment.
