Since the first vaccination was delivered at Dorset County Hospital in December 2020 more than 275,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to people in the BCP Council and Dorset Council areas.

Figures released today show that 275,006 of doses have been given – with over quarter of a million local residents receiving at least one dose.

There are over 20 sites delivering vaccines across the Dorset Council and BCP Council area. In addition, as part of the roll-out of the programme, this week saw local partners working alongside each other to deliver pop-up clinics at local mosques to encourage the Muslim community to get their jabs along with clinics to offer homeless people in Bournemouth vaccinations, working alongside the local YMCA.

If you are offered an appointment and are unable to make it, please let the team know as someone else can use your spot. You will be offered another opportunity.
