An update on the development of Lifeboat Quay Medical Centre will be available at a public event to be held on Thursday 23rd May 2019 at The Spire, High Street, Poole.

When it is opened later this Summer, Lifeboat Quay Medical Centre will become the new home for staff and patients of Carlisle House Surgery, who have benefitted from a significant investment from the NHS England Estates and Transformation Fund.

Along with updates on the build, those attending the event will be able to see plans for the new surgery and speak to members of the team who will be on hand to answer any questions they may have.  In addition, they can find out more about getting involved in their Patient Participation Group (PPG).

Jill Tobin, Practice Manager of Carlisle House said “Since we announced the move earlier this year construction has progressed rapidly, and we are on schedule to open this Summer.  This event gives us the opportunity to keep patients informed, whilst at the same time reassuring them that they will see the same doctors and get the same friendly service.

Lifeboat Quay Medical Centre will give us the ability to provide high quality Primary Care Services for the rapidly increasing local population.  In addition to our existing registered patients we are extending the invite to people who may just be curious as to what is happening at the site and would like to find out a bit more.”

The event will take place at on Thursday 23rd May at The Spire, High Street, Poole between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.   Whilst the event has been arranged for patients of Carlisle House Surgery, everyone is welcome to attend.

For those people who are unable to join us, information from the event will be made available online shortly afterwards via the Carlisle House Surgery website
