New Year, New Team

Meet our new PPG Support team members

Need help with your recruitment days and PPG projects? I am pleased to announce that we have two new members of staff starting work in January whose roles will be to support the development of a stronger network of PPGs.

Jim Gammans and Gill Foott introduced themselves at the November PPG networking event in Weymouth and are keen to start their role supporting PPGs across Dorset.

Jim previously worked in our Continuing Healthcare Team,  and before that in a very public-facing role for Age UK.

Gill has worked at Dorset County Hospital for many years, most recently organising public governor activities.

They’ll both be working closely with our Primary Care Team and will be getting out and about soon after they arrive. They have already got visits to some PPG groups booked into their diaries. One of their key aims will be to help PPGs work more closely together in their localities. Do get in touch with us at communications@dorsetccg.nhs.uk if you’d like to meet them.

Watch this space for blogs from Jim and Gill about the work that they do!
