Following on from the Mental Health View-Seeking stage, we hosted our first virtual Design Event on Tuesday 3 November.

We were so pleased to welcome over 120 participants to the session, and attendees came from a wide range of backgrounds, including service users, mental health staff and VCSE organisations.

We presented our findings from the view seeking stage, shared examples of good practice and most importantly offered everyone the opportunity to discuss in smaller groups what would be the ideal way forward for Dorset in terms of community mental health services.

It was a fantastic event with lots of ideas and common themes identified.

Mental Health Integrated Community Care Project – Design Event Two

We are delighted to be hosting our second Mental Health Design Event on Tuesday 15 December 2:30-4:30pm.

We will host this meeting on Microsoft Teams.

At this second event we will:

  • Present feedback from our first event and share how this has been used to inform the first draft of a very high level model.
  • Seek your views on the above – what you like, anything you feel is missing, any further suggestions you have.
  • Consider the key themes within the model and explore together how you would like to be involved in helping to define what these areas should look like – co-designing the co-design together!
