Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) buys healthcare services for the local Dorset population.
We are currently considering how best to deliver extended access to primary care services in Dorset so that it meets the needs of our population and is affordable. We would like to find out more about people’s experiences and views of accessing primary care services – particularly focusing on attending appointments that are outside of regular practice hours, which are 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. These appointments may include seeing a GP, a Nurse, a Health Care Assistant, a Pharmacist or any other healthcare professional that delivers primary care services.
This survey will give you the opportunity to tell us about when you need to be able to access primary care services, about the kind of services you need to use seven days a week, and about where you would be willing to travel to access them. The information we collect from the survey will help us to make decisions about the way services are provided for patients in the future.
