Patient Groups

Our Patient Group (PPG) events – 8 and 9 May 2019

Thank you to all who attended our events at Kinson and Blandford. We’ve had some great feedback – everyone seemed to enjoy Dr Yule’s presentation on Primary Care Networks.

Want to find out more about Primary Care Networks? The NHS England website has a lot of information about them including a short animated film which we can recommend.

You can find out more about the other exhibitors at our events below. They are open to invitations to come along to your own PPG or other meetings.

Get Involved

Help us design a patient feedback tool – join our focus group

We are looking for 6-8 members of the public to join an advisory group to be held in central Poole on 10 June. The focus group will last for 2-4 hours and will explore ideas and themes for a new patient survey asking people about their experiences of health and care services in Dorset.

We are working in collaboration with Picker, an independent healthcare research charity, to conduct this work. The focus group discussions alongside the results of exploratory work will be used to help develop a new patient questionnaire for people who use health and social care services in Dorset.

If you would like any further information, or to express interest in taking part, please contact either Alan Poots or Megan Bilas, referring to the Dorset Patient and Public Involvement Group, using the following contact details:
