Patient and Public Involvement Representative(s) on our Individual Patient Treatment Panel

There are some treatments which are either not routinely commissioned by NHS Dorset CCG or are only commissioned where specific clinical criteria are met. Requests to provide such treatments are considered by the CCG on an individual patient basis.

We are looking for patient and public representatives to join our panel to consider individual treatment requests. Your role will be able to provide an impartial and non-clinical perspective to the panel’s decision making. The panel meets monthly and attendance can be shared between the appointed representatives. All out of pocket expenses will be paid.

Dementia Services – Public Consultation

We have been reviewing dementia services in Dorset. We know they weren’t working as well as they should. Over 300 people helped us to develop some different models of care and we need your views on the proposed changes. You can find out more about the proposals, see where dementia engagement events are being held and give your views through our survey.

NHS Dorset CCG – AGM, 9:30am – 11:30am, Wednesday 10 July 2019, Hamworthy Club

The Annual General Meeting of NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group takes place 9:30am – 11:30am on Wednesday 10 July 2019 at the Hamworthy Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3AP, at which we will be presenting out Annual Report and Accounts for 2018/19.

Attendees will able be able to find out more about how GP services are developing in their area and about the benefits of new Primary Care Networks. You will also be able to speak to some of Our Dorset partners who will have information stands at the meeting.

Registration is not required; however, we would encourage people to do so in order to help planning.
