Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group

Clinical Delivery Groups

As part of the ambitious plans to improve healthcare in Dorset, we have set up Clinical Delivery Groups (CDGs) to help deliver agreed local and national transformation priorities.

The CDGs will develop detailed plans for delivering care in new ways and oversee their implementation.

The groups have a clinical chair and include representatives of the CCG and local authorities where appropriate. They will set up task and finish groups with wider membership to work on specific and defined tasks.

There are five CDGs themed around the transformation priorities identified by the health and care community. These are:

CDGs make recommendations to our Clinical Commissioning Committee with broader clinical leadership provided by our Clinical Reference Group.

Patient and public involvement in CDGs will be drawn from our Stronger Voices forum. Proposals and developments will be fed into our Patient and Public Engagement Group for input and discussion.
